Tiger’s Nest Hike – The Stairway to the Sacred.
Strap in for a legendary ascent. It’s a steep dirt-track climb to the half-point café—fuel up with views, not just tea.
Then it’s a mix of gentle slopes, switchbacks, and soul-testing stairs, all leading to Taktsang Monastery clinging to a cliff at 3,120m.

Druk Path Trek – Day 1: Paro to Jele Dzong
Kick off the trek with a 30-minute feeder road drive to the trailhead. From there, it’s game on: a gradual climb through grassy slopes and dirt trails into pine-scented silence.
Expect rocky switchbacks, a few short but punchy uphills, and a final push to your campsite near the ancient Jele Dzong, perched like a fortress in the clouds.

Druk Path Trek – Day 2: Jele Dzong to Jigmelangtsho
Hit the trail with a mix of gradual and steep climbs that snake along high ridgelines, surrounded by ancient juniper and blooming rhododendron forests. The air thins, the scenery expands, and every step feels more otherworldly.

Eventually, descend to the shimmering Jigmelangtsho Lake, a hidden alpine gem where you’ll camp for the night with an epic view of Mt. Jitchu Drakye watching over you.

Druk Path Trek – Day 3: Jigmelangtsho to Simkota
Kick off with a long, gradual climb through dense, dreamlike forests that slowly open into alpine wonderland. Pass the serene Janetso Lake, then push upward to a wide-open meadow where the Himalayan giants show off in full glory.

The trail then levels out with a scenic cruise across the ridgeline, ending with a short descent to your high-altitude campsite near Simkota Lake.

Trek Day 4: Summit & Descent

Hit the trail early with a steady climb over rocky terrain to Phume La Pass (4,210m) — your final high point. Soak in jaw-dropping views of Bhutan’s snowcapped giants. From there, it’s all downhill. Descend through mystical pine forests, passing Thada Goemba and the serene Phajoding Monastery, until you reach the roadhead. This is the kind of finish that earns its silence.

We kick off with a giant metal monk—Buddha Dordenma standing 54 meters tall, staring straight into your soul. Then we time-travel into tradition at the Folk Heritage Museum and dive into centuries of style at the Textile Museum. Wrap the morning with a stroll through the Craft Bazaar—if you see it, snag it.

PM
Hit up Kaja Throm Farmers Market for local flavors, mountain vibes, and people-watching gold. Then it’s your time—free time—to wander, caffeinate, or just exist.
